The project “Multilingualism for Social Inclusion in the European Classroom” was funded by the EUniWell - European University for Well-Being. EUniWell was created at the beginning of 2020 and unites seven European universities from seven European regions (Birmingham, Cologne, Leiden, Linnaeus, Nantes, Semmelweis, and Florence). Its core mission is to improve the well-being and quality of life of European citizens through research, education and training.
The project contributes to the core mission of EUniWell in the key priority arena of European teachers’ education through a survey involving four research groups on multilingualism from the Universities of Birmingham, Cologne, Leiden, and Florence. The research activities of the project involved teachers of the first-level secondary schools of the four cities.
